Connect yourself with Him!

Ask yourself a few questions.. Reflect a little on your comminication with your Savior.

•How easy is it for God to communicate with you?

Talking to God is easy. Whether you realize or not, talking to God is one of the easiest things you can do as a Christian. Sure, He may seem far away.. and sure, He may even be a little intimidating (He is The One and only Omnipotent God of the Universe). But don't let that halt your connection with God! A simple prayer immediatly connects you with Christ. God listens to our prayers and hears the crys of His childeren. Time taken to actually sit down and talk to God, is time worth taking...God is ready to talk to you!

•Are you waiting on God?

It’s ok to be waiting on God for something. God works on His time, so everything will not just happen when you expect it to. However, God sometimes wants us to make that step to seek Him out first. Ever think that maybe God is waiting on you to come to Him?

•Does God always have to pursue you first?

No! He does not. There are many cases where God is actually waiting on you. Remember, God already has your life planned out for you. He already knows exactly what is to happen in your life. From blessings to that "next step" in life. Sometimes, all we have to do is ask. Try approaching God sometime. Like I mentioned before, God may be waiting on you!

“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

Do not be afraid to go to God.  Being His child, He encourages you to access Him on a regular basis. He wants nothing more than for you to be completely open and honest with Him. Go to Him with your needs. Come to Him with your concern. Seek Him for direction. TALK WITH YOUR FATHER!
